I stopped waiting for permission.
I am Leah. Single mum, fine artist with 26 years of independent practice, self-taught web developer. For most of my life the art world ran on gatekeepers - galleries that took half, marketplaces that buried you, people who decided whether your work got seen. I stopped waiting for any of them.
With Claude I built my own websites, on my own terms, and I sell my own work through them. No gallery taking fifty percent. No algorithm deciding my fate. Just my art, on a site built to be found, reaching the people who want it.

I have made real art sales through websites I built with Claude, including commissioned pet portraits, many of them memorial pieces. These sales did not come from an existing mailing list or a gallery. They came from people finding the sites and buying. That is the whole point.
Everyone online is selling you theory about making money with AI. I would rather show you a live site that made a real sale. My work has been featured in British Vogue, World of Interiors and House and Garden UK - but being good was never the issue. Being found was. Claude is how I fixed that.
The art sites I built with Claude
I built three, one for each part of my practice. leahjustyce.com for my large-scale original works for hotels, developers and private collectors. Solene Haus, a zero-commission platform where other artists can sign up and sell without a gallery taking a cut. And a dedicated pet portraits offering, where several of my recent sales came from.
None of them are templates. Every one is a real site with structured schema and AEO content, built to be read by ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI and Perplexity. That is the difference between a screen that displays images and a site that actually sells.
The tools that market them
Building the site is the easy part. Reaching the right people is the work, and the big platforms suppress organic reach on purpose. So I built marketing tools with Claude too, on ContentFactoryAI. A YouTube Optimiser that turns a video into a full targeting package with schema to embed on my pages. An Audience Finder that writes native posts for the exact audience I want to reach.
So the whole loop runs on one AI. I build the site with Claude, then I use tools I built with Claude to reach my organic audience. That is how the art gets in front of the people who buy it.

I am one person, in a regional Australian city, with no investors and no team. If I can build my own sites and sell my own work this way, the barrier to starting is far lower than anyone is telling you. You do not need permission.
